Hi everyone, I am Dave Stephen a freelance music facilitator based in Glasgow, Scotland.  Ever since I can remember I've had an overwhelming passion & enthusiasm for music and everything related to it.  This has led me to incredible experiences, performing to thousands of people, receiving national press & airplay for many of my projects, and connecting to audiences all over Europe.

​Over the past 5 years I have become more strongly focussed on the power of music to bring groups together, aid communication and build empowerment within individuals. 

I use my skills at a community level through workshops, lessons, sound editing and performances to encourage and empower others to experience creation, achievement and build self confidence.

I am a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, music tutor, sound engineer and facilitator with a BA Music Performance from the University of the Highlands and Island and a BMUS (Hons) Music and Communities from the University of Aberdeen.  I have worked with many community groups and charities including Aberdeen City Council, Paragon Music, the Salvation Army, Glasgow Disability Alliance, Isobel Mair School, Rookie Rockstars, Kor! Records, Healthy Minds, YCSA, Capability Scotland and Waterbaby Dance.

 I am very adept at adjusting my skills to the needs of each group or individual I work with and have an inclusive approach to music and believe that everyone has the ability to be musically creative.
